Branch 2 of the Polish Alliance of Canada was established on June 12, 1927 in order to group the Canadians with a Polish background within Hamilton and the surrounding area. The first president of this branch was August Pieprzak. The branch currently consists of 140 members and is one of the most progressive groups in the Alliance.

The alliance’s slogan is as follows:


Brotherhood, Tolerance, Education

The goals of the group are:
  • increase cultural events, sponsorships and our community in Hamilton
  • caring about Polish culture and traditions
  • promotion of the rich Polish culture in Canada
  • encouraging our youth to partake in the group
  • increasing involvement of Canadians with a Polish background in the Canadian life
The alliance meetings take place on each second Sunday of month at 2:30 pm.
